To access the information located within the members access area you will first need to be a member of Daenamoo Taekwondo Academy and you will also require a username and password. You can request a username and password at your next training session.
At Daenamoo Taekwondo we believe that discipline is freedom.
It should be understood by members
that the purpose of these rules is primarily to insure maximum benefit from the study of Taekwondo. The basic principles found in these rules have been a
part of Taekwondo from it's beginning.
MEMBERSHIP OATH
I will always give respect and loyalty to my instructors,
my fellow students and my club.
I will endeavor to attain a high standard of physical fitness and
develop my character and personal integrity.
I will approach others with a spirit of friendship and heed social
ethics at all times
SCHOOL RULES
1. Bow to the flag and your instructor when entering and leaving the Do Jang. This is to show respect and your modesty.
2. Do not enter or leave the class without permission from your instructor
3. Students must always bow before speaking to the instructor and use words of consideration while speaking e.g.. yes sir, no sir, pardon me
4. All students are expected to be courteous and understanding. Advanced students are expected to set a good example to new students and to assist such students whenever necessary.
5. Loud conversation, laughing in excess and chewing gum have no place in a
TAEKWONDO School.
6. Your uniform should be clean at all times.
7. Any substitute teacher shall be treated as your regular instructor.
8. Do not give a demonstration or teach TAEKWONDO without the approval of your instructor.
9. Do not engage in any activities that might degrade the code of TAEKWONDO ethics or the reputation of the school.
10. You must have the approval of the school before participating in any tournament competition.
11. Do not participate in any activities held by a school or club other than your own School or affiliated centers.
12. When going on holidays or sick leave inform your instructor of the time you will be absent from training.
13. Remove your shoes before entering the training hall.(TKD shoes are OK)
14. Remove all jewellery before you commence training.
15. Respect your parents.
